The answer to the title is not surprisingly\u2026. YES!!!!!!!<\/p>\n
Been a while I have written something like this and it was inspired by my drive home from work some days ago, it was on Inspiration 92.3 FM. They were talking about hooking people up and this guy called and said he contacted a particular lady that gave her number on radio, he said they spoke once and she refused to pick his calls since that time, she also refused to respond to his texts and after a while, get this, she responds and texts she can\u2019t date him.
\nNow, for me, I found this very annoying, and quite honestly, I was not angry with the lady but rather the guy. Why in God\u2019s name are you making a fool of yourself to someone who isn\u2019t even interested in you by any stretch of imagination, this is just blatant emotional torture. I always try to understand this scenario, so I don\u2019t sound judgmental.<\/p>\n
But lets face it, not judging is the extremely difficult, we cant wait to judge people as soon as we are not in their company anymore, worse hit are celebs, the big forehead for Rihanna, and just general big for Banky, but that isnt where we are here, that has they say is for another day. Moreover, no one can change that, a case of sphere of influence versus sphere of concern.<\/p>\n
Back to the matter, insert Airtel\u2019s radio jingle<\/em> I don\u2019t blame her at all, not even an atom of blame, because as guys we always try as much as possible to throw ourselves out there and our approaches are different, some are very successful with theirs while other rarely have success with it.It might just be a silly case of trying to be funny and not been successful.<\/p>\n Women can tell a lot of things by the way you communicate, they can deduce your confidence level, your sense of style, possibly what you\u2019re packing down there. In the case of the guy who has been phone stalking the lady from the radio, I think he has issues with his confidence level. From the conversation he had with the show host, you can tell he wasn\u2019t comfortable in his own skin, his thoughts were not together, barely found it possible to construct a simple sentence without grammatical errors, and I\u2019m guessing that\u2019s how he spoke to the lady. Of course, he got cut off, because this was a competition, and just like every competition, you need to be very prepared. I\u2019m guessing some other slick guy would have called and dazzled her and you get on her phone and ramble through your speech.<\/p>\n Put yourself in the girl\u2019s shoes, would you consider the guy that just rambled through his speech or the savvy guy that made sure, she gave up \u00a0him her bb pin from that one conversation. The truth is its neither the girls\u2019 nor the savvy guy\u2019s fault, either, It\u2019s the rambling guy\u2019s fault.<\/p>\n Not knowing how to woo a woman isn\u2019t a sin, what is a sin is not learning it, just like any trade, sometimes some people are born with being comfortable having conversations with the opposite sex. Due to several reasons, a guy might not be able to start or maintain a conversation with a lady, for some people, they went to only boys school or whatever caused it.<\/p>\n Learn it like you learnt everything other thing, people write books about it, take it a step further, google it. There are specialist sites that deal with training guys how to have better conversation, I used sosuave.com. I initially had this problem myself; I\u2019m a shy person believe it or not.<\/p>\n For a while, I was in boarding school, I couldn\u2019t speak or do anything if any woman was around, i was terribly shy. I didn\u2019t like that, I wanted to be different, I wanted to talk to as many women as possible, I wanted my confidence level higher, so I went to Google, and Google pointed me in the right direction.<\/p>\n I read all sorts of articles, things to do before approaching a lady, pick-up lines, formalities and everything. I read them for weeks, and it also encouraged me on how to put them into use. I\u2019m not a Don Juan or anything but I\u2019m way better than who I was before.<\/p>\n So, guys, If you know you have troubles talking or asking women out, seek help, look for articles online that can help you, don\u2019t wait till one lady insults you into obscenity and then you kill yourself, which I don\u2019t wish for you.<\/p>\n One more thing, If you aint Alex Hitch, from Hitch the comedy played by Will Smith. If you aint as sleek as him, don\u2019t attempt going for a girl who is with her friends, especially if there are 3 of them. if there are 2 of them, one of them might have the fear of God but if there are in their 3\u2019s? Don\u2019t even bother at all, brother. It\u2019s like an antelope strolling towards 3 hungry lions, even if they aint hungry, it\u2019s still a bad idea.<\/p>\n On a final note, you might just wanna practice scenarios in your head before approaching a lady and then start to blab.
