Cuban dictator Fidel Castro has supposedly slept with 35,000 women over his lifetime. According to one ex-Castro official, he was with at least two women a day for more than four decades, one for lunch, one for\u00a0supper\u00a0and sometimes he even ordered one for breakfast.<\/p>\n

While the exact total might be in doubt, Castro\u2019s partners definitely number in the thousands. When Ann Louise Bardach asked him how many children he had for a 1993Vanity\u00a0Fair<\/i>\u00a0article, Castro replied, \u201calmost a tribe.\u201d During research for her book,Without Fidel<\/i>, Bardach learned of his strong allure to the opposite sex during the years before and after the 1959 revolution. Media reports describe female fans swooning after he arrived triumphantly in Havana and during early trips to the US.<\/p>\n

Bardach explained Castro views sex as an entitlement and said, \u201cI could never begin to explain to him the why and the how of the Monica Lewinksy\u2013Clinton scandal. He was truly baffled as to why having too many girlfriends could be a political liability. In his 1991 book,\u00a0A View From Above<\/i>\u00a0NBA basketball superstar Wilt Chamberlain claimed to have slept with 20,000 different women in his life.<\/p>\n

A shy and insecure teenager, an adult Wilt was a confident pick up artist. Some remember him as charming and respectful, while others recall him as being rude and sexist.<\/p>\n

How did Wilt figure the number at 20,000? Friend and contemporary Rod Roddewig was staying with Wilt at his penthouse for 10 days during the \u201980s. During that 10-day period, Wilt checked off every conquest on his Daytimer. At the end of that time, there were 23 checks in the book or 2.3 women per day. He divided that number in half (to err on the conservative side) and multiplied the years he had been alive, minus the first 15 years.<\/p>\n

In 1999, right before his death at age 62, Wilt regretted not having explained the sexual climate at the time of his escapades and implored men not admire him for his exploits. Before eccentric blues man Screamin\u2019 Jay Hawkins died in 2000, he told close friend and official biographer Maral Nigolian that he fathered 57 children in his lifetime!<\/p>\n

Known for his over-the-top stage antics and the hit \u201cI Put\u00a0A Spell\u00a0On You,\u201d Hawkins led a storied life of skirt chasing that wasn\u2019t without drama \u2013 one girlfriend stabbed him in the back when she found out he was cheating.<\/p>\n

Hawkins lived to the age of 70, and performed to the very end. He said his one big regret in life was not knowing many of the children he fathered. After his death, Nigolian sprang into action and started a website in attempt to locate the kids and bring them together. While thousands contacted the website, 33 of Screamin\u2019 Jay\u2019s offspring have been confirmed with more likely to be found.<\/p>\n
