Welcome to December, Although I dont see the reason for all the excitement; Ofcourse, am thankful to God but I still dont get why everyone is so jumpy….maybe I enjoyed December more when I was a kid.<\/p>\n
Anyway, here is a rant about relationship especially the Ruth Style.<\/p>\n

Today, I want to talk about classification of girlfriends, more importantly; The Ruth style. The Ruth in this context is taken from the Bible. You should know the story, if you dont? Google is your friend, even the Bible might be your friend. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Ruth is usually followed with the Yoruba adjective called Abokoku, which translates to a lady who can die for her husband.<\/p>\n
She is the perfect woman; kind, humble, beautiful, homely, supportive and every other good adjective you can think of. The only negative thing about this is that she\u2019s too caring. You might not see this as wrong but wait till I explain.<\/p>\n
The modern day Ruth involves the lady snooping around your life. She wants to know everyone on your call list, who you spoke to last and why you spoke to the person, the people on your bbm, whatsapp & iMessage, who you’re sending DMs’. She familiarises herself with your bbm contact often reading through your messages. She wants you to cut off those suspicious female contacts, she’s jealous, infact very jealous. She loves attention, I know all women love attention but hers is more.<\/p>\n
She will try to run your life for you whether you want it or not. She\u2019s like a virus, she wants you wherever she is at any point you\u2019re free. She will showcase you to the world. With a girl like this you have a slim chance of cheating based on the premise that she knows where you\u2019re or should be at any point in time.\u00a0Regardless of how busy she is, she will always have time for you.<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong in this type of dating as some guys prefer this, but not me.\u00a0 I am a fan of the busy woman. A career lady, busy at work, travelling and generally indisposed. She loves you though, loves you very much, the better part of the relationship is on the phone, whether she\u2019s in town or not.<\/p>\n
She believes in you spending your money while she spends hers, occasionally she might be open to throwing in something to support, and she won\u2019t do that until you ask her.<\/p>\n
Once in a while, when she\u2019s free, she will come over and you\u2019ll both have the time of your lives. She\u2019s less intrusive, she might not go through your phone because she doesn\u2019t want you to go through her phone either. The both of you are cool, you hang out sometimes, she won\u2019t take days off when you\u2019re ill neither will she fan you when PHCN strikes. Most of the time, she would tell the world she has a boyfriend, would introduce you when she has the chance, she might not go out of her way for you.<\/p>\n
If you want her to do something for you, you might have to tell her, she\u2019s always pre-occupied so she might not remember every little thing you tell her, reminding her about it should also follow. Unlike, the Ruth lady who will pre-empt you on virtually everything, she will help you do things before you think they\u2019re necessary, she\u2019s your guardian angel.<\/p>\n
The advantage the career lady has over the Ruth lady is that she doesn’t choke you or invade your privacy, she will allow you live your life because she\u2019s currently living hers too and most importantly her career is very much on her mind. The career lady sometimes might not notice you cheating, the case of side-chick comes along often times in dating a career lady than dating the Ruth lady. If a Ruth lady catches you cheating, if you beg her, she will forgive you but if the career lady catches you cheating, it might spell the end of the relationship.<\/p>\n
The reason why I’m writing this post is because I have seen friends who date this 2 separate kind of women. The guy dating the Ruth type of girl is enjoying it, he openly confesses this but it drives me nuts, I dont understand how a lady will be constantly in my face and when she’s not in my face, we’re constantly talking on the phone.<\/p>\n
I know this might be bad for me if I cant bear to be with a woman for so long, what will I do when am married?Looool When I get to that bridge I will cross it.<\/p>\n
For people who know me personally, they can testify to it that I hardly pick my phone. Okay, I should stop here because its clearly none of my business. My other friend who is dating the busy girl on the other hand seems happier to me, we hang out, we do stuffs, when she calls, hes happy to pick her calls and when she’s around, and when she’s not around, he’s busy screwing around like Average Joe.<\/p>\n
After looking at this closely, it begs the question; What do we want from our relationships exactly? Is it company, sex, marriage or friendship?<\/p>\n
So, let me ask you; which do you prefer to date\/marry, the Ruth lady or the career lady?<\/p>\n
