\nI completely misunderstood him
\nI wasn\u2019t prepared for it all
\nWeakened I was by the weight;
\nOf his words\u2026.. Of his fists<\/p>\n
I take back every moment of fear
\nEach flinch\u2026 Each tear
\nEverytime I devised a means of escape
\nI couldn\u2019t see it then\u2026
\nNever felt it.<\/p>\n
That look in your eye; Its pity isn\u2019t it\u2026.
\nJudgment, confusion\u2026 A hint of anger maybe?
\nDo not feel sorry for me, I don\u2019t need saving
\nI am where I want to be,
\nI am happy.<\/p>\n
Happy\u2026
\nwhen he gets that look in his eyes;
\nJust before he deals the first blow.

\nFrom that feeling he gives off;
