#OCCUPYNAIJA DAY 2

Hi peeps, Happy New Year.

I’m sure this isnt exactly the time to say Happy New Year but its my very first post of the year. It’s really a trying time in Nigeria right now, this has been the 3rd day of the strike. We’re here hoping that the President will revert his decision on the subsidy removal however he seems adamant.

One would think a President who couldn’t handle Boko Haram or the ‘Cabal’ is weak.  Clearly he wants to prove to Nigerians that he is strong and very determined about his actions.

We would have appreciated his strong will when Boko Haram was on a destruction spree of the whole federation.

If you ask me, this subsidy removal is the right step at the wrong time. Nothing works and the FG wants to remove subsidy???

Absolutely unheard of, Electricity is still epileptic, our education is in shambles, ASUU has been strike for God knows how long, healthcare is in the gutters, our road are death traps and he wants to remove the subsidy from Petrol?

Subsidy is the only thing Nigerians get from the government and he wants to cut it off? The money saved from removal from Diesel what did they do with it? No one to answer this question.

It just doesn’t make sense just like wearing a condom after sex. I hate to delve into Politics but apparently Nigerians have had it with this administration. You can’t expect to do things and nobody will object you. You’re our leader, we appointed  you or at least that’s what you said. You should listen to us and we’re saying we don’t want you to remove the subsidy, you’ve got a bunch of people working with you, find a creative way of dealing with this so-called Cabal that wouldn’t kill the ordinary Nigerians.

We keep hearing that Nigeria is broke and your newspaper allowance is N45M, your daily meal allowance is N3M???

Who are we deceiving, let them cut down their allowances by 50% then we’ll know they are making sacrifices.

The case of the N18,000 minimum wage hasn’t even been implemented across board and you wanna yank out the subsidy. Dont compare us with Ghana because everything there works.

One silent question is if Boko Haram asked the President to return the subsidy, will he ?

*Coughs*

Anyway, i just want you to enjoy some of the pictures from the Day 2 at Ojota.
