#Fitfam Things: Hollywood star, Charlie Hunnam uses sex to stay in shape

Son of Anarchy star has said sex is part of his work-out routine, and it proves very effective. Read the whole story.

So, here is one Hollywood star telling you how he uses sex. Do you watch Sons of Anarchy, if you do then you’ll have seen Charlie, and what is even more interesting is that sex isn’t just romantic for him. It’s also about getting your gym work while in bed.

It’s been scientifically proven that a certain amount of sex can be considered exercises but it’s not directly proportional.

Charlie Hunnam is the cover star for Men’s Health this month, and as you can see he’s very fit, and ideally that’s usually attributed to a lot of working out, and diet. He has added something else to his work-out routine, which is sex, reports Macaela MacKenzie, Women’s Health.

“I’m interested in having a high fitness level across the board,” he says. “Running, swimming, jumping rope, hiking, jiu-jitsu—I try to do it all,” Hunnam revealed to Men’s Health. “I also try to make love as often as I can. That’s an important part of fitness.” That’s how you live!

If you work out, you’ll have your usual routine, which might include, a run, then some lifting then maybe a sauna. Sex has been proven to help with lifting people’s mood, and making people feel better all around, even at work. A good sex life can make you productive at work.

Regrettably, sex can be a way of working out, but it cannot be a substitute for your gym routine. I’m sorry to be the bearer of the bad news. You will lose some calories through sex but you will not burn enough calories that way. Don’t say I never warned you. IT is also worthy to say that it will help your work-out routine but shouldn’t be the major thing.

“Sweating is how I change my oil every day. I just feel happier, more positive, energized, and disciplined if I work out,” he says. “There’s no reason you can’t be active at 70. I want to run up mountains at that age.”
